An environmental organization protecting land in the Appalachians of southern Quebec
Appalachian Corridor: A Nature Conservation Organization
Non-profit conservation organization, founded in 2002, dedicated to protecting natural areas on private land. Our mission is to strengthen and pass on a vast corridor of protected natural areas, safeguarded in perpetuity.
Vision
In response to the climate and ecological crises, we aim to foster a global awareness of biodiversity and expand protected areas, while serving as a leading reference in conservation and ecological land management to promote global awareness of biodiversity and increase the number of protected areas, by setting the standard for conservation and ecological land-use planning.

The second largest conservation organization in Quebec
We work closely with landowners and a network of local conservation organizations to preserve the most precious ecosystems in our territory.
Our approach is built on careful planning and science-based decision-making. Our recognized expertise extends beyond our territory, with projects that often drive innovation and inspire other groups across Quebec.
Our Team
A team of nearly 25 experts, supported each summer by around 10 technicians and interns in the field.
