Project Manager for Protected Area Management
Passionate about nature and conservation, Amélie earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Ottawa, followed by a master’s degree from the University of Sherbrooke, where she studied the impact of recreational trails on forest birds. Throughout her studies, she developed her knowledge of herpetofauna, ichthyofauna, and avifauna.
Driven by a desire to make a tangible contribution to the protection of natural environments, Amélie joined the Appalachian Corridor’s protected areas management team. This role allows her to combine her love of the outdoors with her commitment to preserving ecosystems. An avid outdoor enthusiast and endurance athlete, she draws energy from every challenge, whether modest or ambitious.
