Team leader, knowledge and logistics

Victor is a biologist specializing in ornithology, chiropterology, and botany. He founded the Eastern Townships Bat Conservation Program and is a member of the Quebec Bat Recovery Team. Species identification is one of his main passions.

As Team leader, knowledge and logistics at Appalachian Corridor, he leads the teams responsible for ecological assessments, monitoring of species at risk, and the surveillance of protected areas. He is also in charge of the road ecology and connectivity component, which were the central themes of his master’s degree. In particular, he led the development of the Highway 10 Connectivity Plan and advises on wildlife crossing projects across the organization’s territory. The conservation of natural environments and the protection of biodiversity are his top priorities.
