Annie Provencal

Biologist

Annie first joined the Knowledge Acquisition team as an intern during the summers of 2023 and 2024, then as a biology technician and a protected areas management technician. She now holds the position of biologist.

Passionate about the arts, Annie completed a bachelor’s degree in scenography before switching to environmental sciences. She chose bioecology as her field of study because she particularly enjoys fieldwork. During her studies, she had the opportunity to develop her interest in botany and ornithology. Eager to share her enthusiasm for nature, Annie worked as a mountain guide and interpreter before joining the team.

She hopes to pursue a career focused on the conservation of our natural heritage and aspires to become a scientific illustrator.
