Since childhood, Mich\u00e8le has been interested in nature and curious about the place of humans in the planet\u2019s ecology. Her interest in Appalachian Corridor and the conservation of natural environments was immediate.
As a municipal councillor (2009-2013) in Saint-\u00c9tienne-de Bolton, then mayor until 2021, she had the opportunity to get to know the organization better and to appreciate several collaborations for the benefit of the municipality. She was also involved in the environment, culture and planning committees of the Memphr\u00e9magog MRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Professionally, she has acted as portfolio manager for the provincial agencies Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de D\u00e9veloppement Industriel, now Investissement Qu\u00e9bec, after serving as director of administration at the Agence qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise de valorisation industrielle de la recherche (AQVIR) and as program officer (status of women and community organizations) at the federal Department of the Secretary of State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
