Protected Areas Management Technician
Passionate about nature and conservation, Amélie completed a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Ottawa, followed by a master’s degree at the University of Sherbrooke, where she focused on the impact of recreational trails on forest birds. Throughout her studies, she developed expertise in herpetofauna, ichthyofauna, and avifauna.
Driven by a desire to make a tangible contribution to the protection of natural environments, Amélie joined the protected areas management team at Appalachian Corridor. This role allows her to combine her love of fieldwork with her commitment to ecosystem preservation. An outdoor enthusiast and endurance sports lover, she draws energy from every challenge, whether modest or ambitious.
