Vincent Hamann-Benoit

Protected areas management project manager

An avid nature and outdoor enthusiast, Vincent is particularly interested in birds, mushrooms and trees.

With a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, a certificate in restoration of natural environments and a master’s degree in agroforestry, he has always been interested in initiatives aimed at harmonizing human activities with natural environments.

As a project manager in protected areas management, he contributes to mandates related to monitoring the territory, managing hiking trail networks, and raising awareness and mobilizing neighbors and volunteers. He also participates in the program for monitoring the ecological integrity of protected areas. He has been a member of the Appalachian Corridor team since 2021.

Outside of work, Vincent enjoys gardening and the outdoors, tending his ecological orchard and exploring the region’s peaks and rivers.
